Restaurant Partner Terms

These Restaurant Partner Terms govern the relationship between Ooota and the restaurant establishments listed on its platform. By registering as a restaurant partner on Ooota, you agree to comply with the terms and conditions outlined below.

1. Platform Nature

  • Ooota is a technology-enabled marketplace platform connecting customers, restaurants, and delivery partners.
  • The platform does not directly prepare, store, or sell food.

2. Partner Eligibility & Compliance

Partners must maintain:

  • Valid FSSAI license
  • Local business regulatory compliance
  • Hygienic food preparation standards

Partner is fully responsible for food quality, safety, and packaging.

3. Pricing & Menu Policy

  • Listed menu prices should reflect fair offline market pricing.
  • Artificial price inflation or misleading pricing practices are prohibited.

Partner agrees to update:

  • Menu items
  • Prices
  • Availability status
  • Restaurant working hours

4. Order Processing Responsibilities

Partner must:

  • Accept or reject orders within platform response time.
  • Prepare orders only after confirmation.
  • Hand over orders securely to delivery personnel.

Order cancellation after preparation may be restricted.

5. Payment Settlement & Fees

  • Platform operates on a subscription-based service model.
  • Subscription fee is applicable after the free/trial period.

Customer payments will be settled after:

  • Deduction of platform subscription fee
  • Applicable taxes
  • Refund adjustments if required

Settlement cycle will be defined by the platform.

6. Data Usage & Confidentiality

Partner authorizes Ooota to use:

  • Business information
  • Menu data and images
  • Order analytics for service improvement

Customer information obtained through the platform must not be used for external promotion.

7. Quality Monitoring

Ooota may monitor:

  • Customer ratings
  • Complaint frequency
  • Service performance

Repeated poor performance may lead to temporary suspension.

8. Suspension & Termination Rights

The platform may suspend or terminate partner access if:

  • Fraudulent activity is detected.
  • Food safety or hygiene rules are violated.
  • Customer complaint levels are consistently high.
  • Subscription or dues are unpaid.

9. Dispute Resolution

  • All disputes will be governed by Indian law.
  • Arbitration shall be conducted in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
